Description	:	Glenn E. Taylor, age 88, of East Bend passed away on Thursday May 16th, 2013 at his home. Mr. Taylor was born on February 11th, 1925 in Yadkin County to the late Garlie Taylor and Amanda Ross Taylor. In addition to his parents, Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by three brothers Melvin Taylor, Clyde Taylor, and Austin Taylor and three sisters Treva Holland, Nell Smitherman, and Lillian Matthews. Mr. Taylor was born on February 11th, 1925 in Yadkin County to the late Garlie Taylor and Amanda Ross Taylor. In addition to his parents, Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by three brothers Melvin Taylor, Clyde Taylor, and Austin Taylor and three sisters Treva Holland, Nell Smitherman, and Lillian Matthews. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Lorene Taylor of the home; two sons Kenneth Wayne (Linda) Taylor and Danny Taylor of Clemmons; two daughters Glenda (Allen) Church of Yadkinville and Donna (Jeff) Lambe of Mocksville; one brother Paul (Margaret) Taylor of Pfafftown; four sisters Annie Roggingcamp of Charlotte, Opal (Wade) Denny of Pilot Mt, Faye Walker of Winston Salem, and Grace Hardy of East Bend; three grandchildren Terry Church, Kim Shephard, and Dillon Lambe; three great grandchildren Taylor Church, Cody Pollard, and Madisynn Church; and special friends Henrietta Mathis and Debbie Starling. A funeral service for Mr. Taylor will be conducted on Saturday May 18th, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at New Home United Methodist Church with the Rev. Gary Mahathey and Rev. Nancy Kroll officiating. Burial with military rites will follow in the church cemetery.
