Description	:	GLOUSTER — Glenn Edward McDaniel, 89, of Glouster, died Monday, Dec. 22, 2003, at Hickory Creek Nursing Center, The Plains. Born Nov. 3, 1914, in Athens County, he was the son of the late John McDaniel and Mary Simons McDaniel Morris. He was a 1933 graduate of Ames-Bern High School and a member of Hooper Ridge Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Antle McDaniel, whom he married on Oct. 12, 1942; two sons and daughters-in-law, George W. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mae Koker and Ada Lawrence. Services will be held Saturday, 1 p.m., at Hooper Ridge Church of Christ, with Pastor Don Seavers officiating. Burial will be in Hooper Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at Jagers and Sons Funeral Home in Athens on Friday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
