Description	:	Glenn was born on October 7, 1941 in West Branch, the son of Hugo and Marie (Hora) Havel. He was united in marriage to Doris Elaine Stika on May 6, 1967 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church. After twenty years of marriage they had a beautiful daughter, Darcy, the real joy of their lives. Glenn was a parking attendant for the University Of Iowa Dental Parking lot for 20 years retiring in 1987. He was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, and Hemophilia of Iowa. Glen loved classic cars; Glenn and Doris were founding members of the Cruiseamatics Car Club and the Classy Chassy Cruisers car club. He also loved animals, especially his cats they held a special place in his heart. He would stop on the side of the road to remove dead animals so no one would run over them even though he was physically impaired and on crutches. Glenn is preceded in death by his parents; infant brother Donald Lee Havel; step-mother Marilyn Havel; and step-brother Virgil Parker.
