Mr. Darrow was born June 19, 1910 at Elkport, Iowa to Newell and Daisy (Goddin) Darrow and was married to Ann J. Fieseler on June 24, 1934 in Cedar Rapids. She preceded him in death in 1987. He formerly owned Glenn's Auto Mart in Cedar Rapids. He was a past member of the Elks Club, Elmcrest Country Club and Mizpah Masonic Lodge #639. An avid golfer, Glenn had won several city amateur golf tournaments in Cedar Rapids and during his golf career, he also participated in several state championship tournaments having once reached the semifinals in match play.
