Mr. Little died Monday, Feb. 16, 1998, at Sabine County Hospital, Hemphill, Texas, after a brief illness. He retired in 1976 as construction superintendent after 26 years with Dean Fry Construction Co. He was born March 30, 1923, in Princeton, to George and Pearl (Soltau) Little. He married Joyce E. Dodds on Oct. 24, 1946, in Pleasant Valley. She died April 11, 1997. During World War II, he served with the Army in the Rhineland, Normandy, northern France, central Europe and the Ardennes. He was honorably discharged in 1945 and received six Bronze Battle Stars and the Good Conduct Medal. He enjoyed hunting, trapping, fishing, hunting for mushrooms, walking in the woods and helping family and friends. Glenn was one who enjoyed expressing his opinion and wrote numerous letters to the editors of various newspapers. Memorials may be made to Little's Pineo Grove, Princeton. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Rita and John Farro, Ronda and Dean Siem and Deena and Ned Schroder, all of Princeton, Deborah and Rod Enderson, White House, Tenn., and Wendy and Gary Bellin, Park View; a son and daughter-in-law, Calvin and Jeanne Little, Bettendorf; 16 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and brothers, Larry Little, Princeton, and Wayne Little, LeClaire. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dean Little.
