Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, December 27, at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home in Muscatine. Dr. Rev. Marc Royer will officiate. Casket bearers will be Jeff Royer, Brian Hilbrant, Kevin Hilbrant, Kenny Simons, Brad Soule and John Kuebler. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Muscatine. Glenna Jean Spraker was born November 14, 1941, in Mount Pleasant, Iowa, the daughter of Arthur L. Spraker and Anna L. Roach. She married Robert Hilbrant September 23, 1961, in Mount Pleasant. She was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving from Sept. 6, 1960, to Nov. 29, 1961. She was a member of the Church of the Palms, Sun City, and volunteered at the Boswell Hospital, Sun City. While residing in Muscatine, she was employed as a medical secretary at the Bethesda Care Center. She enjoyed reading, walking and spending time with her family, especially the "grandbabies". Survivors include her husband; a son, Randy Hilbrant and wife Jody of Lake in the Hills, Illinois; a daughter, Debra Hill and husband David of Peoria, Arizona; four grandchildren, Eric and Abby Hill, both of Peoria, and Taylor and Raegan Hilbrant, both of Lake in the Hills; a sister-in-law, Twyla Royer and husband John of West Burlington, Iowa; a brother-in-law, Richard Hilbrant and wife Helen of Muscatine, Iowa; a brother, Clark 'Corky' Spraker and wife Darlene of West Burlington, Iowa; and stepmother, Pauline Spraker of Mount Pleasant, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents.
