Description	:	loria J. (Hamm) Eyster, 68, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2015 with her family by her side at Hospice and Community Care in Mount Joy. She was the loving wife of Donald K. Eyster, who passed away in 2014. Gloria was born in Hanover on November 18, 1946 and was the daughter of Treva M. (Copenheaver) and the late Stewart M. Hamm. Eyster, who passed away in 2014. Gloria was born in Hanover on November 18, 1946 and was the daughter of Treva M. (Copenheaver) and the late Stewart M. Hamm. She graduated from Spring Grove High School class of 1964. While in high school she was a member of the National Honor Society and served on home coming court and was also chosen as prom queen. Gloria was chosen as the secretary of her senior class and was vice-president of the dramatics club. She was a homemaker most of her life but worked various jobs while her children were in school. She was also a member of Hempfield U.M.C. in Lancaster. She enjoyed playing the piano, spending time with family and she cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren. Gloria is survived by her son, Michael K. Eyster and wife, Amy of Landisville; her daughter, Lori E. Martin and husband, Jeffrey of Landisville; and her grandchildren, Andrew, William, Amanda, Ella and Ryan. She is also survived by her mother, Treva (Copenheaver) Hamm; her brother, Bruce Hamm and wife, Linda of Stoverstown; her sister, Trudy Gladfelter of York; and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. at St. Jacobs United Church of Christ, 100 E. George St., York New Salem, followed by her funeral service at 11 a.m. with Rev. Richard Barley officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at St. Jacobs Union Cemetery following the service.
