Description	:	Gloria O. Spriggs, 76, of Chillicothe, passed from this life into the arms of Jesus, on Monday, June 25, 2007, at her residence following a lengthy illness. She was born in Jackson County on January 5, 1931 to the late Clarence and Jennie (Woods) Leach. On November 29, 1947 she was united in marriage to Ed F. Spriggs who preceded her in death on September 6, 1993. Gloria is survived by daughters, Deb (Charles) Turvy of Chillicothe, Cora J. Rhinehart of Kettering OH, sons, James F. (Deborah J.) Spriggs of Washougal WA. and Fred L. (Joanna) Spriggs of Richmond Dale. 6 Grandchildren; Robert E. Pearson, Arlington, VA, Christina (Matt) Harris, Kettering OH, Shanna Spriggs, Richmond Dale, Heather (Randy) Groeneveld, Connell, WA., Christopher Spriggs, Ventura, CA, and Nick Rhinehart, Chillicothe, 2 Great grandchildren, 3 Step-grandchildren, 5 Step-Great grandchildren and several special nieces and nephews. Gloria had many friends, but special friends to the end were, Beth Courtney and Shirley Campbell. She also had 3 caring and loving caregivers, Kathy Sheese, Caroline Merrow and Lois Tropea who watched over her daily for every need. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by, three brothers, Dane, James and Robert Leach, two sisters, Betty Wise, Jean Boyce and grandson Jason Dillard. Gloria was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church, American Legion Post #62 Auxiliary, VFW Post 108 Auxiliary, AMVETS Post 4 Auxiliary and Eagles Aerie 600 Auxiliary. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Lighthouse Baptist Church, Building Fund, Adena Hospice or The American Cancer Society. The family would like to thank all of the staff, at Adena Hospice for their help and support these last few months. Services were entrusted to Ware Funeral Home of Chillicothe, Ohio.
