Description	:	Gloria Dunn, age 87, formerly of Eldora, IA, died on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at Hansen Family Hospital in Iowa Falls, IA. Gloria was born February 2, 1928, in Keokuk, Iowa, to Edward and Viola Chambers. Gloria graduated from Keokuk High School, and attended classes at Drake University and Ellsworth Junior College. She was united in marriage to William N. Dunn on December 21, 1947, and they lived most of their lives in Hubbard and Eldora, IA. Read More	Gloria Dunn, age 87, formerly of Eldora, IA, died on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at Hansen Family Hospital in Iowa Falls, IA. Gloria was born February 2, 1928, in Keokuk, Iowa, to Edward and Viola Chambers. Gloria graduated from Keokuk High School, and attended classes at Drake University and Ellsworth Junior College. She was united in marriage to William N. Dunn on December 21, 1947, and they lived most of their lives in Hubbard and Eldora, IA. Gloria was a lovely and gracious woman who made friends wherever she went, and was a wonderful mother to four boys, grandmother to a mixed lot of nine, and great-grandmother to three girls. Her many travels included trips to four continents, Alaska and Hawaii. She was a 50-year member of PEO International, was a founding member of the Eldora Young Mothers' Club and long-time member of the Eldora United Methodist Church. For several years after Bill's death, she worked at the PEO International headquarters in Des Moines where she enjoyed the comradery and made many friends. She wintered in Florida for many years, again making many life-long friends. Gloria is survived by her four sons, W. Bruce Dunn of Des Moines, IA, David W. (Jean) Dunn of Eldora, IA, Kenneth C. (Rachel) Dunn of Boulder, CO, and Richard N. (Jan) Dunn of Eldora, IA, and a sister, JoAnn Cramer of Keokuk. Her grandchildren include Melanie (Dr. Wade) Sewell of Mason City, Natalie Dunn of Chicago, Katie Dunn of West Des Moines, Liz Dunn of Chicago, Bill (Katie Priske) Dunn of Denver, CO, Jack Dunn of Ames, Ted Dunn of Eldora, Hamilton and Harper Dunn of Boulder, CO, and great grandchildren, Gwen, Claudia and Claire Sewell of Mason City. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill. A time of visitation will be held on Monday for one hour prior to the funeral. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 4, 2016, at 2:30 p.m. at United Methodist Church, 1415 12th Street in Eldora, IA. Gloria will be buried at Eldora Cemetery. A reception will be held at the American Legion Banquet Room, 1215 Washington Street in Eldora following the burial.
