Description	:	Glyn Richardson, age 84, of Harrison, passed away Monday, May 19, 2014 at Hillcrest Home in Harrison. The son of Marion Calvin and Ruth Lee Kennicutt Richardson, he was born February 2, 1930 in Yardell. Glyn was a twin, and one of three sets of twins born to his mother. Read More	Glyn Richardson, age 84, of Harrison, passed away Monday, May 19, 2014 at Hillcrest Home in Harrison. The son of Marion Calvin and Ruth Lee Kennicutt Richardson, he was born February 2, 1930 in Yardell. Glyn was a twin, and one of three sets of twins born to his mother. Glyn was a long time member of Eagle Heights Baptist Church and a lifelong resident of the Harrison area. He was a graduate of Western Grove and a member of the Western Grove basketball team. After graduation, he joined the Navy and proudly served his country for four years during the Korean War. On May 4, 1957, Glyn married Mildred Ruth Mason. Together they raised two boys, Sam and John Richardson. During his lifetime, Glyn worked as a salesman and owned and operated his own battery business before he retired. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, gardening, and was an avid Cardinals fan. To some, he was known as Hoss. He loved to make people laugh, even during his time at Hillcrest Home. His grandkids could always make him smile. Glyn is survived by his two sons and daughters-in-law: Sam (Kim) Richardson of Springdale, Arkansas and John (Amy) Richardson of Harrison; his twin brother: Lyn "Red" (Madalyn) Richardson of Harrison; six grandchildren: Ashley (Jeremy) Merrill, Kylee Richardson, Collin Richardson, Kindall Richardson, Mattie Richardson, and Riley Richardson. He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters: Vecil Gentile, Iva Lou Ruff, Imogene Johnson, and Betty Goodlin and three brothers: Norris, Kender, and Kenneth Richardson. Visitation was Wednesday, May 21, 2014, at the funeral home. Funeral services were Thursday May 22, 2014, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home with Brother Glenn Crenshaw officiating. Interment was in Western Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers: Collin Richardson, Mike Richardson, Todd Richardson, Ronnie Ruff, Brad Duck, and Garry Barnard. Honorary Pallbearers: The Men's Three Sunday School Class at Eagle Heights Baptist Church and Glyn's caregivers at Hillcrest Home. `
