Description	:	Glynne was the oldest of two boys, his little brother Lloyd followed just a year later. Sadly his mother passed away from complications from child birth. He and Lloyd spent much of their young life with their grandparents until his dad married his stepmother Mabel . At the young age of 17 he joined the navy and served aboard the USS stormmes at Okinawa, surviving a kamikaze attack. He and Lloyd spent much of their young life with their grandparents until his dad married his stepmother Mabel . At the young age of 17 he joined the navy and served aboard the USS stormmes at Okinawa, surviving a kamikaze attack. When he returned home he married the love of his life Louelle McNutt, July 6,1946. He became a loving father to two daughters. In his younger years he stated working in a sawmill. In 1960 the young family moved to Northern California. He started working for Simpson timber Company, were he retired in 1988 when the Arcata Bottoms mill closed. As a young man he found his true calling, sharing the word of the Bible as a devoted Jehovah's Witness. Glynn and Louella loved to travel with their grandchildren and great grandchildren in later years. Glynne was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years Louella. A memorial service was held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in McKinleyville Ca.
