Description	:	Goldie Tschetter, age 97, of Huron, passed away Saturday, February 9, 2019, at the Huron Regional Medical Center. Her funeral service will be at 10AM, Wednesday, February 13th, at the Bethesda Church. Burial will be in the Bethesda Church section of the Ideal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7PM Tuesday at the Bethesda Church, with her family present from 5-7PM. A prayer service will be held at 6:30 PM Tuesday evening at the church. Read More	Goldie Tschetter, age 97, of Huron, passed away Saturday, February 9, 2019, at the Huron Regional Medical Center. Memorials may be directed to the Bethesda Church. Goldie was born on March 6, 1921, to Joseph and Katheren Hofer in Beadle County, South Dakota. She attended rural school until she went to Doland, South Dakota to attend high school graduating in 1941. In 1944, she married Clarence Tschetter at Bethel Church, rural Yale. Goldie and Clarence lived and farmed the first five years with Goldie’s mother. In 1949, they moved to Yale where they farmed for 50 years and raised two children, Rena and Kim. Goldie was a wonderful cook and prized baker. Many people stopped by her kitchen to be treated to the best coffee cake or apple pie on this earth. Goldie and Clarence shared many wonderful years together. They enjoyed traveling to many exciting places in the world, such as India and China. After Goldie and Clarence retired, they moved to Huron. Goldie moved to Stoneybrook Assisted Living in 2014. Goldie was a member of Bethesda Church, Huron South Dakota. Goldie was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence on October 2, 2005; six sisters; and six brothers. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her children, Rena (Donnie) McNaboe of Garfield, Arkansas and Kim Tschetter of Huron South Dakota; five grandchildren, Gina (Brad) Merritt of Omaha, Nebraska, Teri (Russ) Chalko of McKinney, Texas, Bret McNaboe of Las Vegas, Nevada, Lance (Sammi) Tschetter of Huron, South Dakota and Dakota Tschetter of Huron, South Dakota; and seven great-grandchildren, Timothy, Jerica, Nicolle, Tristen, Steven, Suttyn and Lawysn. Goldie wanted to mention her thankfulness for the wonderful friends she made at Stoneybrook and the wonderful care extended to her during her stay. Published by Kuhler Funeral Home.
