Services were held Tuesday at the United Methodist Church in Minden with the Rev. Dr. Bill Hunter officiating. Burial was in the Minden Cemetery. Mrs. Morris was born Jan. 13, 1904, to James and Caroline (Anderson) Jameson in Upland. She grew up in the Upland area and attended Upland High School. Mrs. Morris was born Jan. 13, 1904, to James and Caroline (Anderson) Jameson in Upland. She grew up in the Upland area and attended Upland High School. On Sept. 27, 1922, she married Richard Morris in Upland. They farmed near Upland. She moved to Bassett in the mid-1930s until the mid-1940s. She then moved to Omaha to work during World War II. In the 1950s she moved back to the Kearney and Minden areas. She worked as a nurse's aid at Kearney County Community Hospital in Minden for over 25 years. She retired to the East View Court in Minden and later moved to Long Term Care Unit. She was a member of United Methodist Church. Survivors are one son, Bruce of Minden; two daughters, ArDelle Robinson of Bassett and JuNelle Hutcheson of Lincoln; 11 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by seven sisters, five brothers, and one grandchild.
