Description	:	G. L. Goldie Wulff, age 91, of 680 Nebraska Ave. SW, Huron, died Wednesday, November 24, 2004, at the Violet Tschetter Memorial Home. His funeral mass will be at 11:00 AM Friday, November 26, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Rev. Donald Imming officiating. Burial will be at St. Martin Cemetery. Wulff was born on October 16, 1913, to Ferde and Karen (Jensen) Wulff at Erwin, SD. Goldie attended Lake Preston High School for a few years, then attended and graduated from Bradley High School in 1931. He operated a WNAX Service Station and gasoline bulk plant in Huron until he moved to Watertown in 1936, where he worked for Metz Baking Company as a salesman. On July 3, 1939, Goldie married Marian Ederer at Florence, SD. In 1942, they moved to Los Angeles, CA, where he worked as a supervisor for a U.S. Navy Plant. In 1946, they moved to Redfield, SD, where they owned and operated an automobile dealership. In 1952, they moved to West Point, NE, where they owned and operated a Coast to Coast Hardware Store. In 1959, they returned to Huron, where they owned and operated Goldies Car Wash and Maytag Laundry. Goldie invented, patented, and sold veterinary Eee Zee Shots. Goldie and Marian retired in 1976, spending more time at their Pickerel Lake home, near Sisseton, SD, where they had a farm and cattle. Until Goldie suffered a stroke he enjoyed his daily visits to their Cavour Farm to work with his cattle after he had coffee with his friends. He was an avid sportsman who hunted ducks and geese, and also loved fishing for walleyes. They traveled to many states, spending months in Texas and Arizona, as well as enjoying many fishing trips to Canada. Goldie was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus, and a member of the Huron Area Senior Center. He is survived by his wife, Marian of Huron; 2 sisters, Ruth Swanson of Lake Preston, SD, and Shirley (Ernest) Jensen of Beresford, SD; 2 nephews, Fred Smith of Golden, CO, and Ronald Peterson of Bellwood, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Curtis who died as an infant, and Orville who lost his life in World War II.
