Description	:	G.W. Waldron was born on March 8, 1866 in Patrick County, Virginia, and passed away on February 15, 1940, at the hospital in Genoa, Nebr., at the age of 73 years, 11 months and 7 days. On Sept. 6, 1893 Mr. Waldron was united in marriage to Miss Ida Flora at Boones Mill, Franklin County, Virginia. To this union eight children were born, four daughters and four sons. On Sept. 6, 1893 Mr. Waldron was united in marriage to Miss Ida Flora at Boones Mill, Franklin County, Virginia. To this union eight children were born, four daughters and four sons. In the fall of 1893 Mr. and Mrs. Waldron moved on a farm north of Rogers, Nebr., where they live until 1914 at which time they moved to North Bend, Nebr. In 1921 they moved west of Silver Creek, Nebr., where they lived until about a year ago, when they moved to Silver Creek, Nebr. During the year of 1893 Mr. and Mrs. Waldron united with the Purple Cane Methodist Church. In the year 1921 they transferred their membership to the Methodist Church in Silver Creek, Nebr. Mr. Waldron leaves to mourn his departure his wife Mrs. Ida Waldron of Silver Creek, Nebr. his four sons Thomas, William and Howard Waldron all of Parco, Wyo., and Edgar Waldron of Silver Creek; also one sister in Wyoming and three sisters in California; five grand children along with many other relatives and friends. Mr. Waldron's four daughters all preceded him in death. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, February 17 at 1:00 p.m. at the Methodist Church in Silver Creek, Nebr. by Rev. H.F. Beebe. Interment was made in the Purple Cane cemetery northwest of North Bend, Nebr. by the side of his four daughters, the Masons conducting the burial service at the grave.
