Weber were conducted at Zion Congregational church here Saturday afternoon. He died Wednesday evening of last week at his home, 209 east Second, as a result of a heart attack. He had been in failing health, especially during the last month. He was born Sept. 5, 1886, at Tripp, S. Dak., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Weber. He was one of 18 children, six of whom survive. He lived during his life at Linton and Braddock, N. Dak., at Odessa and in Ritzville. He farmed for five years at Schoonover station, and was employed by the Centennial Flouring mills for 37 years. On Sept. 14, 1907, he was married to Agnes Mary Geissler of Odessa. He is survived by his wife, Agnes Mary, and by three daughters, Mrs. Lillian Miller of Ritzville, Mrs. Opal Stephens of Soap Lake and Mrs. Violet Hardin of Riverside, Calif. There are two grandsons surviving, Merrill N. Schutz of Spokane, and Dennis C. Stephens of Soap Lake. Two sisters, Mrs. John Hopp, jr., of Odessa and Mrs. Nathan Reiman of Stockton, Calif., survive. Four brothers survive, H. P. Weber of Stockton, Calif., J. P. Weber of Odessa, John P. Weber of Oregon City, Ore., and the Rev. Jonathan P. Weber of Rocky Ford, Colo. Five great-grandchildren are living. Gotlieb Weber was a member of Zion Congregational church here, and of the Modern Woodmen. The Rev. Beryl Melcher conducted the funeral service. Milton Sackmann sang, "Beyond the Sunset," and "In the Garden." His accompanist was Mrs. Orville Moeller. Pallbearers were Dick Stockman, jr., Jim Kadlec, Henry Davis, Jake Ottmar, Bill Franks and Roy Langenheder. Honorary pallbearers were Henry Hoffman, Otto Schoonover, Fred Langenheder and Ervin Zeimer. Burial was in the Ritzville Memorial cemetery. Thank you for this transcription.
