Born Feb 5, 1936, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Harold Stanley Near and Clara Elizabeth Painter Near. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Hezekiah M Oats, in 1973, and her second husband, Dixie Carl Otzelberger, in 1978. She was employed as a youth supervisor at the YMCA. Services will be at noon Wednesday at the A K Coffman Funeral Home; Reginald M Mitchell will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Williamsport. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11 am to noon. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah's Witnesses, Hagerstown.
