Smith; brothers, Frank Morton, Rufus Morton, Ray Morton, Roy Morton and Greenlee Morton; sisters, Alice Morton and Molly Thompson. She is survived by her nephew, Jerry W. Thompson, Sr.; grand nephew, Jerry Thompson, Jr.; and great grand niece, Meagan Thompson, all of Albemarle, and a very special friend, Ruby Austin of Albemarle. She was a retired spinner for Wiscassett Mills and was of the Primitive Baptist faith, attending Mtn. Creek Primitive Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to Immanuel Baptist Church, 1309 Old Charlotte Road, Albemarle, NC 28001.
