Description	:	Mrs. Dennis Silver 1961 Bridgewater Bulletin The death of Grace Beatrice, a well known and higly respected citizen and wife of Dennis Silver, of Hemford, occurred very suddenly at her home on Sunday morning, December 3 rd, after a brief illness. She was born at Hemford 82 years ago, the youngest daughter of the late William and Julia Ann (Emeno) Veinot and was the last surviving member of that family of ten children. She spent many years in Maine and Massachusetts, coming back home to reside 31 years ago when she married Dennis Silver who survives. She is also survived by a son, Earl Smith, Saugus, Mass., by a former marriage to Jack Smith; also a son, Verion Smith, Collingwood Corner; and by a daughter, (Grace) Mrs. Allan Starkweather, Dover, Mass.; two sons, Nelson Eldridge, California; and Alfred Eldridge, at home, to a marriage to Harry Eldridge; one step-daughter, (Lavalla), Mrs. Harry Waterman; and one step-son, Clement Silver, Bloomington; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. One son, Lee Smith, predeceased her. The funeral, which was largely attended, was held from the Union Church, Hemford, on Tuesday afternoon, December 5th, at 2 p.m. Services were conducted by Licentiate John Leddicote of the New Canada Baptist Church of which she was a member, who spoke comforting words to the bereaved. Hymns rendered by the choir were "What A Friend We Have in Jesus" and "Abide With Me." Pall bearers were Dalton Mailman, Basil Wagner, Donald Mailman, Melvin Silver, Eugene Veinot, and Ronald MacQuarrie. With thanks to Rosemary Rafuse. NOTE: Grace's death certificate lists her parents as John Veinot and Juliana Emeno. It also states that her given names were 'Grace Bertha'.
