Description	:	Wife of Dr. Arthur E. Stinson. Rochester – Mrs. Grace Stinson, 85, of Athens, died at 4:10 a.m. today in the Miller Nursing Home. She had been in failing health for eight years. She was born Aug. 9, 1883, four miles west of Akron, and had lived in Henry Twp. her entire life. On March 9, 1904, she was married to Dr. Arthur E. (Dick) Stinson. He died Feb. 14, 1957. Rochester – Mrs. Grace Stinson, 85, of Athens, died at 4:10 a.m. today in the Miller Nursing Home. She had been in failing health for eight years. She was born Aug. 9, 1883, four miles west of Akron, and had lived in Henry Twp. her entire life. On March 9, 1904, she was married to Dr. Arthur E. (Dick) Stinson. He died Feb. 14, 1957. Mrs. Stinson was a graduate of Rochester Norman College in 1902, and was a member of the Athens United Methodist Church. She has received a 50 year pin from the Order of Eastern Star Chapter 90, was a member of the Manitou Chapter of the DAR and the Women's Club, all of Rochester. Mrs. Stinson was the first woman in Fulton County to serve as vice-chairman of the county Republican Central Committee. Surviving are a son, Dr. Dean K. Stinson of Rochester; six grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Lola Brown of North Manchester and Mrs. Ferol Skidmore of Rt. 2, Rochester. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Foster and Good Funeral Home, with Rev. Wayne Johnson, pastor of the Athens United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Rochester Odd Fellows Cemetery. Friends may call in the funeral home after 5 p.m. Wednesday. Published in the South Bend Tribune; Tuesday, Sept. 17, 1968.
