Grace E Molison was the daughter of William and Elizabeth Cleland Molison. She attended Pleasant Township rural schools and graduated from Malcom High School. She attended Cornell College in Mt Vernon, Iowa and later the Kellogg School of Physical Education in Battle Creek, Michigan. Read More	Grace "Molly" Sheerar 98 of Stillwater, Oklahoma and formerly of Malcom died Thursday at the Stillwater Medical Center. Burial in the Ivy Hill Cemetery, Malcom, Iowa. Grace E Molison was the daughter of William and Elizabeth Cleland Molison. She attended Pleasant Township rural schools and graduated from Malcom High School. She attended Cornell College in Mt Vernon, Iowa and later the Kellogg School of Physical Education in Battle Creek, Michigan. She taught physical education at Grinnell College before returning to receive her degree in 1925. She then taught at Hammond High School in Hammod, Indiana and in 1928 took a position with Oklahoma A&M College. She was married to Leonard Francis Sheerar on August 20, 1929. They made there home in Stillwater, Oklahoma where she was instrumental in the formation of the Stillwater Family YMCA and established the Leonard and Grace Sheerat Endowment Scholarship that was given annually to a chemical engineering student at Oklahoma State Universtiy. She also suported the buildings and programs of the Oklahoma Society for Crippled Children and was a major contributor to the Sheerar Cultural Center. In 1980 she received the Governor George Night Arts Award which recognizes individuals who have made contributions to the arts in Oklahoma. In 1991 She received recognition for 60 years activity in PEO. She was a member of the Presbyterian Women's Association, the Second Mile Sewing Club and the Round Table.
