I've added some articles I found about Sam Seegrist's death (suicide - after being involved in a land swindle in CO) and her short marriage to Hamby (spelled wrong in the 1910 census). Hamby died in a train accident in 1910, a year later Grace was awarded $4,700 for his wrongful death. This was Hamby's third marriage, about little was known.
