Description	:	Mrs. Grace Holcomb Casstevens, 90, of Hinshaw Road passed away Thursday, Oct. 4, 2001, at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born Sept. 1, 1911, in Yadkin County to the late George and Vick Long Holcomb. Mrs. Casstevens was retired from Hoots Memorial Hospital in the dietary department and was a member of Mitchells Chapel United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Casstevens; an infant son, Clyde Edwin Casstevens; an infant daughter, Grace Ann Casstevens; a sister, Annie Ray; and four brothers, Ed Holcomb, Ray Holcomb, Calvin Holcomb and Grady Holcomb. Mrs. Casstevens was retired from Hoots Memorial Hospital in the dietary department and was a member of Mitchells Chapel United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Casstevens; an infant son, Clyde Edwin Casstevens; an infant daughter, Grace Ann Casstevens; a sister, Annie Ray; and four brothers, Ed Holcomb, Ray Holcomb, Calvin Holcomb and Grady Holcomb. Surviving are her two daughters, Martha Jane Casstevens, of the home and Dorothy (Fred) King, of Yadkinville; four grandsons, Steve (Tammy) King, of Yadkinville, Michael (Kathy) King, of King, Tim (Valerie) King and Brian (Sandy) King of Yadkinville; 10 great-grandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren. Her funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Mitchell's Chapel United Methodist Church by the Rev. Tim Starbuck. She will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Gentry Family Funeral Service, Highway 601 N., Yadkinville. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Mitchells Chapel United Methodist Church, Center Road, Boonville, NC 27011.
