Services are 11 a.m. Saturday, June 12, at the United Presbyterian Church, Lone Tree. The Rev. Beverly Hovenkamp and Loren Yoder will officiate. Casket bearers are Dan Schaefer, Matt Schaefer, Curt Jensen, John Butler, Ed Eden, John Brinkmeyer and Dennis Barnes. Memorials may be directed to the United Presbyterian Church and the Lone Tree School Library Fund. Mrs. Storm was born August 23, 1917, in Blairsburg, the daughter of Lawrence J.S. and Etta S. (Nicholson) Cheyne. She married Harold F. Storm August 8, 1942, in Springfield, Missouri. She graduated from Williams High School in 1934. She worked as a beautician and a homemaker. She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church of Lone Tree and the Lone Tree American Legion Auxiliary. She served on the building committee when the United Presbyterian Church was constructed. She also served as a Girl Scout leader and was an avid Hawkeye fan and card player. She enjoyed reading, music and traveling, but most of all she dearly enjoyed spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include two daughters, Lana G. Schaefer and husband Dale of Rockwell and Lori Storm Brooks and husband Harry of Lone Tree; five grandchildren, Dan Schaefer and wife Kandee of Maize, Kansas, Mindi Schaefer of Eagan, Minnesota, Matt Schaefer and wife Jen of North English, Nicci Butler and husband John of Mustang, Oklahoma, and Jessica Jensen and husband Curtis of Tipton; two stepgrandchildren, Tonya Smith and husband Gerry of North Liberty and Amber Mattheis and husband Josh of Iowa City; nine great-grandchildren, Morgan, Payton, Kamryn, Grace, and Tyler Schaefer, Teagan, Jack and Griffin Butler and Justine Jensen; three stepgreat-grandchildren, Gavin, Tavian and Taleah Smith; a sister, Mildred Wulkau of Williams; and a sister-in-law, Delores Wagner of Ottumwa. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a brother, Donald.
