Cremation has taken place under the direction of Croxford Funeral Home and Crematory, with private burial at a later date. At her request, no services are planned. She is survived by her husband, 3 daughters, her 5 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren. Grace was born June 27, 1921, to Sylvester and Viola Johnson in Scappoose, Ore. She grew up in small towns along the Columbia River and graduated from Rainier Union High School in Rainier, Ore., in 1939. She married George Reese; they later divorced. In 1955, she married Archie James Emry in Olympia, Wash. Archie was in the United States Army and, after traveling with the military, they retired to Great Falls in 1961. She worked for Sears and Roebuck's catalog department for several years, and later worked part time for the Cascade County elections office. She was a member of the Christ Church on the Hill, Olive Chapter No. 10, Order of Eastern Star, Sapphire Temple 79, Daughters of the Nile, The Temple Dancers and Musicians, and was Past Guardian of Bethel No. 9, Job's Daughters. Grace also was a founding member of the Great Falls Chamber of Commerce Hello Dollies Committee.
