Description	:	Grace L. Olmsted, 93, of Marysville, Kansas, died Monday evening, June 4, 2012 at Cambridge Place in Marysville. Grace was born on July 2, 1918 on the farm northeast of Home City, the daughter of Frank and Louise (Keller) Schlax. She attended the Home City and Oketo grade schools and also went to a business college. She married Donald I. Olmsted on July 25, 1947. She was a farm wife and they had one son, Richard. Olmsted, 93, of Marysville, Kansas, died Monday evening, June 4, 2012 at Cambridge Place in Marysville. Grace was born on July 2, 1918 on the farm northeast of Home City, the daughter of Frank and Louise (Keller) Schlax. She attended the Home City and Oketo grade schools and also went to a business college. She married Donald I. Olmsted on July 25, 1947. She was a farm wife and they had one son, Richard. Grace was a member of the Evangelical United Church of Christ in Marysville. She also belonged to a quilting club and a card club. She always looked forward to family get togethers, birthday parties, Thanksgiving dinners, Christmas, New Years, and birthdays for her grandson Lee. Grace is survived by her son, Richard Olmsted of Marysville, and her grandson, Lee Olmsted of Marysville. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Donald, who died on January 31, 1986. Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 9 at the Home City Cemetery, north of Home, Kansas.
