The past two years she had been at Higgins Rest Home. The deceased had been superintendent of the primary department of Windfall Christian Church, for 41 years. Friends may call at the S. S. Edward Funeral Home in Windfall after 7:30 o'clock this evening. Funeral services will be in the church at 2 p. m. She was united in marriage on New Year's Day, 1900 to Thomas Rome McDowell, who preceded her in death, in 1944. The two children of the couple are deceased. The McDowells operated a greenhouse in Windfall for 40 years. They raised three grandchildren, one of whom has died. Surviving grandchildren are Gene Cottingham and Mrs. Richard (Linda) Heater. Six great grandchildren survvie. After her father's early death, Grace's mother married Sanford Weaver.
