Description	:	Grace Leona (Corey) Reed of Springfield went home to her reward on Monday, July 7, 2003 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born in Bear Island [Granite Hill on bc] she was the daughter of the late Doran A. and Edith C. (Parent) Corey. Grace was a member of the Springfield Pentecostal Church and taught Sunday School for many years. She and her husband were vendors at the Boyce Farmers Market with homemade bread, meat and vegetables for nearly fifty years. She is survived by her husband, Irvine M. Reed; daughter, Marvella Curtis (Charles) of Springfield, daughter, Joyce Hatheway (Wayne) of Meductic, daughter Brenda (Arbeau) Yerxa of Burtts Corner; son Terry Arbeau (Jane) of Springfield, son Ashley Arbeau (Cindy) of Springfield; sixteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; a sister, Glenna Inman (Ray) of Aurora, Ontario; sister-in-law, Mary Corey of Toronto, Ontario, sister-in-law, Pearl Corey of Caverhill and many other children whom she mothered throughout her lifetime. Grace was predeceased by a son Glendon Reed and his wife Edith (Keetch) Reed, two brothers, Murray and Perley Corey, two sisters, Beulah (Corey) Crosley and Bessie (Corey) Fox and four grandchildren, Cynthia, Virginia, Christopher and Matthew Curtis. Resting at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic with visiting hours Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Sunset Church, 429 Clements Drive, Fredericton on Thursday, July 10, 2003 at 2 p.m. Rev. Duane Copeland officiating, assisted by Rev. George Clark and Rev. Joe Beesley. Interment will follow in Scotch Settlement Cemetery. For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Grace, the family has suggested the Springfield Pentecostal Church.
