Description	:	Daughter of Fred and Julietta James. Her early life was spent with her parents in Nebraska. March 22, 1916 she was united in marriage to Bert E. Doran of York Nebraska. Following her marriage she lived with her husband in York where he was engaged in the banking business with his father. Later they moved to a farm in South Dakota where they resided for 14 years, following which time they removed to beaver, Boone county Iowa where they engaged in farming. March 22, 1916 she was united in marriage to Bert E. Doran of York Nebraska. Following her marriage she lived with her husband in York where he was engaged in the banking business with his father. Later they moved to a farm in South Dakota where they resided for 14 years, following which time they removed to beaver, Boone county Iowa where they engaged in farming. To this union were born four children, a daughter, Dorothy Lynn who died in infancy, a son, John Frederick who is now in the United States Army and is enroute overseas, a son, Bert Everett, of the United States Marines, who is now located in the island of Guam and a son, Robert Gene, now past eight years of age at home. Mrs Doran died at the hospital in Boone Iowa as the result of burns received at her farm home on the Morning of January 17.
