A prayer service will be later at Pleasanton Cemetery. She was born Sept. 16, 1929, to James and Mary (Yiengst) Dobry on the farm near Verdigre, Neb. She graduated from Sumner (Neb.) In December 1946, she married Ronald Carman. They made their home in Pleasanton. This union was blessed with two daughters, Ronna and Michelyn, and one son, Joseph. Grace was a housewife and later a partner with Ronald in Carman Real Estate of Ravenna, Neb., until 2011, when both Ronald and Grace retired. Grace is survived by her daughters, Ronna Eddings and her husband, Tom, and Michelyn Christiansen, all of Oklahoma; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Darold “Red” Carman; sister-in-law, Carol Lee Johnson and husband Charles; and extended family and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, James, Kenneth and Vladimir; her husband, Ronald; and her son, Joseph.
