Leslie, was born near Avoca, Iowa, January 26, 1880, and died December 13, 1923, at the age of forty-three years, ten months and seventeen days. She was married to George F. Grace Mae Leslie, daughter of Thomas H. and Elizabeth L. Leslie, was born near Avoca, Iowa, January 26, 1880, and died December 13, 1923, at the age of forty-three years, ten months and seventeen days. She was married to George F. Schuster on March 28, 1901, and since that time had lived in the neighborhood of the present home. To Mr. and Mrs. Schuster were born three children Harold Oliver, Frances Ann and Alice Elizabeth. Mrs. Schuster is survived by her husband, three children, her mother, three sisters, Rebecca N. Leslie, Mrs. Anna Schuster of Shelby and Mrs. Nola F. Scoles, of Des Moines, Ia. and one brother, Clifford B. Leslie, of Shelby. She was a member of the Shelby Presbyterian church, the Eastern Star, and the Loyal Home Workers Club, and through these circles she endeared herself to a host of friends. She was a loving daughter and sister, a devoted wife and mother. She was a true neighbor and friend to all she knew, ever ready to help those who needed her services. She learned the true joy which came through bringing happiness to others. Her life was radiant with sunshine and good cheer which was scattered everywhere. With her it was a natural gift to smile, and speak the golden words of kindness. Her life was not long in years, but that which was much better, it was well lived; it was rich in Christian character. Among her last words to the loved ones about her was the oft repeated phrase "I know God will take care of me." God has taken care of her. Our hearts ache as we realize that her face must pass from our midst. But in memory she will ever linger and her influence lives on. We will be better because we have known her and will try to maintain in our lives her beautiful spirit of unselfish service and pure Christian life. (Obit provided by F.A.G. Member No. 46938122.)
