Born Dec. 13, 1919, in Lambert, to Henry and Helena Schultz, she was the youngest and last surviving of six children. She moved to Billings to attend high school, where her life-long love affair with Tim O'Leary began. She moved to Billings to attend high school, where her life-long love affair with Tim O'Leary began. Grace and Tim were married Oct. 29, 1938, and today the family celebrates their 68th anniversary, and a life together that spawned five children, 11 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Her parent's could not have adorned their daughter with a more fitting name, as Grace moved through life with a quiet beauty, elegance and dignity. Despite her petite appearance, she possessed a strong will and a humble and kind heart, and was the cornerstone of the family. They depended on her caring, calm demeanor and rational approach towards life's issues. While she enjoyed the company of her husband and family more than anything else, she also had passion for bridge and golf, and for solitary pursuits and lost arts. She could often be found happily sewing or canning jelly and pickles. Springtime especially freed Grace's nurturing spirit; a time to immerse herself in her garden. She also spent over 40 years and 1600 hours volunteering as a Pink Lady for Saint Vincent's Hospital, and as a volunteer at Holy Rosary Church. Please join Grace's husband Tim; her children, Patricia Jaffray of Billings, Peggy O'Leary of Appleton, Wisc., Kathleen O'Leary of Sacramento, Calif., Julie Majerus (Gil) of Roundup, Tim O'Leary (Michelle) of Portland, Ore.; her niece, Beverly Sveinson of Billings; her sister-in-law, Shirley O'Leary of Billings; her niece, Sharon Kummerfeldt of Billings, her nephew Rex Plummer (Donna) of Clinton, Mont.; grandchildren, Timothy and Mark Jaffray (Carterin) of Seattle, Barry Smith of Wausau, Wisc., Kevin Smith of Portland, Colleen Graham (Jeff) of Bakersfield, Calif., Judson Roscoe (Racquel) of Seattle, Shannon Majerus of Bridger, Robert Majerus (Kristy) of Forsyth, Amy Angel (Darrick) of Roundup, Tara Kinsey (Brad) of Roundup, Tiffany Majerus of Roundup; and their five great-grandchildren; and many friends to celebrate Grace's life at 12 noon on Tuesday, Oct. 31, at Saint Patrick's Co-Cathedral. Cremation will take place and internment of ashes will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, with arrangements by Michelotti-Sawyers. In lieu of flowers, we think Grace would have preferred memorials to Saint Patrick's Co-Cathedral New Parish Center, 215 N. 31st, Billings, MT, 59101.
