Viewing will be 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the church. The Wetzel Funeral Home Inc., 549 Carlisle St., Hanover, is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Gibbons was born Aug. 15, 1915, in Manchester, Md. She was the daughter of the late Albert H. and Martha (Baumgardner) Mancha. She was a member of St. Paul's (Dubs) United Church of Christ, a member of its Irvin Rill and Leroy Fisher Sunday School Classes and a quilter for the Ladies of the Church. Mrs. Gibbons also is survived by four sons, John H. Gibbons of York, James E. Gibbons of Brodbecks, Dean A. Gibbons of Hanover and Jesse L. Gibbons of Abbottstown; a daughter, Nancy A. Hahn of Brodbecks; 15 grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 11 step-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charles Mancha of Manchester, Md., and Robert Mancha of Hanover; and two sisters, Treva Bowman and Doris Smith, both of Manchester, Md. Mrs. Gibbons was preceded in death by a granddaughter who died in 1969. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Phillip K. Nace.
