Read More	Coon Rapids Enterprise March 6, 1914 Miss Grace Ridgeway, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Ridgeway, died Tuesday of typhoid fever, being sick about three weeks. The Ridgeways lost their son but a short time ago and that their only daughter and only remaining child should now be taken from them is an affliction to them almost too great to bear and they have the deep sympathy of everyone in their sorrow. Coon Rapids Enterprise March 13, 1914 Grace Viola Ridgeway, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Ridgeway, was born in Viola Township, Audubon County, Iowa, January 24, 1898, and departed this life at her home March 3, 1914, at the age of 16 years, 1 month and ten days. During Evangelist Goff's meetings last October, she gave her heart to the Lord. Grace was a bright, lovable girl and always had a kind words and smile for everyone, even up to the last hours of her illness, and was loved by all who knew her. She was ever a joy and comfort to her parents, and especially so since the death of her only brother last November. She was just entering womanhood it was a great favorite with everyone. She will be sadly missed by all and her going out has cast a gloom over the entire neighborhood. The home will be lonely without her but how blessed it is to know that she is among those on the golden shore. She cannot come to us but we can go to her. She leaves to mourn her departure a sorrowing father and mother and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Ridgeway of Dickey, North Dakota, and Mr. and Mrs. D. W. Hendricks of Coon Rapids, besides many other relatives and Friends. Hers was a beautiful life and how sadly we will miss her, but thy will not ours be done. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Miller at the Christian church in Coon Rapids Friday afternoon. Her music teacher, Mrs. Fred Textor, had charge of the music. She was assisted by a quartet composed of Mrs. Rickerson, and Messers Johnson and Clayton, accompanied by Miss Hazel Updike. The floral offerings presented by the young people and relatives were most beautiful. Those who attended the funeral from a distance were Ed. Hendricks of Cedar Rapids, Mr. and Mrs. M. F. Winfrey of Des Moines, Mrs. A. J. Ridgeway of Dickey, North Dakota, Oliver and Joseph Taylor and Fred Moomaw of Prairie City.
