Read More	Gregory Allen Higgins May 16, 1950 - January 17, 2018 Gregory Allen Higgins, 67, Kokomo passed away at 4:33pm on January 17, 2018 at Community Howard Regional Hospital. Greg was born on May 16th, 1950 to Frederick E. and Nelda M. (Gunnell) Higgins in Kokomo, IN. Greg graduated from Lewis Cass high school, Class of 1969. He married Mary Foster on August 19th, 1972. They were married 29 years until she passed in 2001. Greg served our nation proudly in the United States Air Force in 1981. He retired from Delphi in 2001 after a career of thirty years. He was a member of local UAW #292 and Howard County Civil Defense. He was part of the Indy 500 security team for many years. Greg umpired for Northside little league and refereed for high school basketball, volleyball, and track and field. Greg enjoyed watching sports, bowling, gardening, woodworking, painting, traveling, and especially spending time with his family. He is survived by his mother Nelda; children, Sandra and husband Bill Richardson and Alan and wife Kelly Higgins; sister, Mila Blohm; brother, Ron and wife Michelle Higgins. Greg is also survived by his grandchildren Jake, Jenna, Ty, and Max Richardson, Foster and Kailey Higgins, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by father, Frederick, wife, Mary, and brother Danny L. Higgins Visitation hours are Tuesday January 23rd, 2018 from 4:00-8:00pm. Services are Wednesday January 24th, 2018 at 11:00am with visitation one hour before at Ellers Mortuary, Webster Street Chapel with Pastor Richard Olson officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery
