Born May 21, 1956, in Athens, he was the son of the late Delmar and Olive Pidcock Taylor. He is survived by his significant other of 30 years Rachel Proffitt; daughters Tonya and Trina Taylor of The Plains, Toni (Tim) Cook of Logan, Maria Proffitt of Albany, a son Greg Taylor Jr. of New Marshfield; grandchildren Terry, Blake, Jacob, Caleb, Kyla, and Conner; sisters Carlotta (Brent) Lowry, Beverly (Clyde) Dicken, Penny (John) Stout, and Myrna (Jerry) Dickerson; and a brother... He is survived by his significant other of 30 years Rachel Proffitt; daughters Tonya and Trina Taylor of The Plains, Toni (Tim) Cook of Logan, Maria Proffitt of Albany, a son Greg Taylor Jr. of New Marshfield; grandchildren Terry, Blake, Jacob, Caleb, Kyla, and Conner; sisters Carlotta (Brent) Lowry, Beverly (Clyde) Dicken, Penny (John) Stout, and Myrna (Jerry) Dickerson; and a brother Del Taylor; and many special friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Sandra Taylor,and a nephew Brian Mace. Services will be Saturday at 11 AM at Bigony-Jordan Funeral Home, with Pastor Jim Ditty officiating. Burial will be in New Marshfield Cemetery. Visitation will be today Friday August 24, 6-8 PM at the funeral home and 1 hour prior to services on Saturday.
