Description	:	Gregory Stephen Andrews, 76, of Wenatchee, a retired fruit broker, died Wednesday afternoon, June 1, 1988, at his home following an extended illness. He was born to Stephen and Luttie Andrews on April 30, 1911, at Cashmere where he was raised and graduated from Cashmere High School in 1927. Mr. Andrews later attended Washington State University and graduated in 1934 with a degree in engineering. Read More	Gregory Stephen Andrews, 76, of Wenatchee, a retired fruit broker, died Wednesday afternoon, June 1, 1988, at his home following an extended illness. He was born to Stephen and Luttie Andrews on April 30, 1911, at Cashmere where he was raised and graduated from Cashmere High School in 1927. Mr. Andrews later attended Washington State University and graduated in 1934 with a degree in engineering. He married Nellie Pentecost on Dec. 18, 1935, at Wenatchee where they have made their home since. Mr. Andrews was employed in Wenatchee as a fruit broker for more that 50 years, working for Northern Fruit, the Atlantic Commission Company, the H. S. Dennison Fruit Company, and then as sale manager for Nuchief until his retirement in 1984. He was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Wenatchee where he had been a lay reader for 21 years. He had also been a member of the Washington State Apple Commission, Wenatchee Golf and Country Club, St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Omak and the Wenatchee Traffic Association. Mr. Andrews had been past master of Palestine Lodge No. 2124, F. & A. M. of Omak, and had been active with the Boy Scouts of America in Omak. Survivors include his wife, Nellie, at home, and a daughter, Luann Bratsky of LaJolla, Calif. He was preceded in death by a son in 1948 and a brother in 1974. Jones and Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
