Description	:	Mrs. Grete Elizabeth Hill, a former resident of the Dunbar community, died about noon Tuesday at the home of her son, Elmer Hill, two and one-half miles southwest of Montour, with whom she had made her home for the past 18 years. She was 85 years old and had been in failing health for the last few years, becoming suddenly ill last Friday. Read More	Mrs. Grete Elizabeth Hill, a former resident of the Dunbar community, died about noon Tuesday at the home of her son, Elmer Hill, two and one-half miles southwest of Montour, with whom she had made her home for the past 18 years. She was 85 years old and had been in failing health for the last few years, becoming suddenly ill last Friday. Mrs. Hill was born Grete Elizabeth Ingebritson on a farm near Stavenger Norway, Aug. 22, 1854. In 1876 she was married to Joegren Hill and in 1882 they came to America, settling in the Dunbar community. To this union were born six children, Mrs. T. R. Lovig, who was born in Norway, was five years old when the family came to this country and now lives near Gilman; Elmer Hill, near Montour; Henry Hill, Sherburn, Minn.; Mrs. Lewis Lura and Albert Hill, near McCallsburg, and Mrs. Conrad Rosedale, who died Aug. 7, 1910. Her husband died about 20 years ago and besides her children, all of whom were with her when she died, she is survived by 22 grand-children and eight great grandchildren. She attended the Strand Lutheran church at Dunbar and burial will be in the Dunbar cemetery Thursday following funeral services at 1 p. m. that day at the Elmer Hill home and at 2 o'clock at the Dunbar church. Rev. E. A. Bersagel will be in charge of both services.
