He was a native of Stoke County and was retired from the General Electric Co. after 27 years. Surviving are sons, Bill Roberts of Wallburg, Max Roberts and Parks Roberts, both of Ramseur; daughter, Louise R. Burgess of Ramseur; sisters, Juanita Trogdon of Asheboro, Delphine Coward of Wilmington; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren.
