Read More	Gus Wright, 55, of Wenatchee, died Sunday, May 30, 2004 in Wenatchee at his home. He was born in Gregory, South Dakota on November 20, 1948 to Ralph and Mary Ann (Fuhrer) Wright. Gus lived in Nebraska as a young child with his family. In 1964, the family moved to Wenatchee where he followed two years later and where he has resided until his death. Gus served his country in the United States Army from 1968 to 1974, serving his time in Vietnam as a Crew Chief Door Gunner. After his honorable discharge, he was a landscaper for many years. Dad loved to fish and hunt. The outdoors is where he loved to be. His appearance might have been short but his heart was bigger than any man we ever knew and will be remembered by all. He was always there whenever or whatever we needed. His Grandkids where a light in his life, he loved to take them on four-wheel rides and tell them stories of when he was a kid. He loved to teach them new things. Our Dad was a brave, caring and giving man. It started in his beginning years of adult life by serving in the Vietnam War. He risked his life for our Country, as he would for his loved ones. Our Dad loved to be busy turning junk into gold. He loved to be crafty and he could take a piece of wire and turn it into a missing part for a car. He is the best and will be so missed by all. Our Dad touched so many people's lives in so many ways. He is survived by son, William Wright of Wenatchee; son, Brock Wright of San Diego, CA; daughter, Kelly Miles of Wenatchee; mother, Mary Ann Felker of Moxee; brother, Tom Wright of Moxee; sister, Rose Neill of Hood River, Oregon; brother, Gary Wright of Tacoma; brother, Elmer Wright of Mattawa and numerous nieces and nephews. His father, Ralph Wright, precedes him in death. A funeral service will be held Saturday, June 5, 2004 at Jones & Jones Colonial Chapel in Wenatchee at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Tim Wilbur officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Park following the service. Jones & Jones Funeral Home of Wenatchee is handling the arrangements.
