Description	:	Mrs. Rae F. Randlett Hartland, Dec 7 – Mrs. Gwendolyn Hanson Randlett, 34, wife of Rae Fuller Randlett, died Tueday evening of pneumonia. Mrs. Randlett was hostess to the Outlook club last Thursday afternoon and spoke of not feeling well. She was taken ill that night. "Polly", as she was known to her intimates, was a woman of much charm of manners and very popular. She was an ideal homemaker, a possessor of artistic ability, and a devoted wife and mother. Randlett Hartland, Dec 7 – Mrs. Gwendolyn Hanson Randlett, 34, wife of Rae Fuller Randlett, died Tueday evening of pneumonia. The daughter of Perley and Bertha Wilkins Hanson of Hartland, she received her elementary education in the schools of this vicinity, later graduating from Maine Central institute and from Nasson institute in 1924. Surviving are her husband, a young daughter, Rae Jean, and little son, Roger Haven, age five; her parents; a brother, Maurice Hanson, an aunt and cousins. Mr. Randlett's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas F. Randlett, and his brother, Donald, were also much devoted to her. Services will be in the Baptist church Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock by Re. John W. Randlett Hartland, Dec. 13 – Services for Mrs. Gwendolyn Hanson Randlett, wife of Rae Fuller Randlett, were in the Baptist church by Rev. John W. Reynolds of Newport. The church was filled with relatives and friends. The Evening Star chapter, O.E.S. of which she was a valued member, attended in a body…Interment was in Pine Grove cemetery here. Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Rae Jean; a son, Rogen Haven Randlett; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Perley Hanson; a brother, Maurice Hanson, and other relatives… (Bangor Daily News, Wednesday 14 December 1938, p25)
