Rick was preceded in death by his parents, and grandmother, Millie Mae (Wagner) Bowers and grandfather William Henry Bowers. He leaves to cherish his memory; wife, Mary Bowers of Murray, IA, three daughters, Kelly Burtz of Hannibal, MO, Tina (John Hansen) Bowers of Murray, IA, Charety Kneedler of Murray, IA, two sons, two sisters, Debbie (Austin) Brown of Des Moines, IA, sister, Sherri Fales of Runnells, IA, nine grandchildren including, Jimmy Burtz of Hannibal, Mo, Haley Rae Hodges of Murray, Stacey Bowers of Murray, Matthew Barnes of Murray, Briar Bowers of Murray, Djai Smith of Weldon, Brianna Pace of Osceola; one great grandchild. He also had 3 adopted daughters, Leah (Andy) Smith of Osceola, Missy (Bob) Sergeant of Osceola, and Debbie (Kendall) Garner in Montana.
