Read More	Obituary from The Sterling Kansas Bulletin, Sterling, KS, Friday, June 30, 1905, Page 3, Column 4: Mrs. Hannah Wright. Mrs. Hannah Eaton Wright, widow of Aaron H. Wright, was born in Preble County, Ohio, October 10, 1830, and departed this life June 19, 1905, at 2:30 a. m. In March, 1879, Hannah Wright with her husband and family moved to Kansas and settled at Huntsville, Reno County. Aaron Wright, her husband, died November 15th the first year, leaving Mrs. Wright to care for a large family of children. She made the old homestead her home for the last twenty-six years, and by her passing away goes one of the pioneers of Reno County. Hannah Wright was united in marriage to Aaron H. Wright, Feb. 22, 1853. To this union twelve children, eight of whom survive her. Eighteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren are living to bless her memory. On Sunday, June 18th, she attended the Childrens Day service and returned home much concerned about the dinner. In the afternoon she enjoyed a visit with some of the children. The children left in the evening. All was well and happy, little did they think that before the break of another day they would be called to her death-bed. She retired Sunday evening in as good health as she had been for several weeks; about 2 o’clock she called her daughter, but before help could be administered she passed to her reward in the arms of her Saviour and King. At the time of her death only one of the children (Mrs. Fegett) was at her side, so it was a surprise to the family as well as to her friends. By her passing away the children lose a precious mother.
