Description	:	Hannah Belle Swaidner was born in Columbiana County, Ohio on March 12, 1836 the daughter of David and Catherine Clippinger Swaidner. She was married to Benjamin Franklin Connell on March 29, 1859. To this union were born six children, two of them dying in infancy. They lived at Georgetown, Oho until 1867 when the family moved to Poweshiek County, Iowa where she lived until her death. Her husband preceded her in death on October 15, 1898. Read More	Hannah Belle Swaidner was born in Columbiana County, Ohio on March 12, 1836 the daughter of David and Catherine Clippinger Swaidner. She was married to Benjamin Franklin Connell on March 29, 1859. To this union were born six children, two of them dying in infancy. They lived at Georgetown, Oho until 1867 when the family moved to Poweshiek County, Iowa where she lived until her death. Her husband preceded her in death on October 15, 1898. She joined the Church of the Brethren about fifty-two years ago and has always been an active member. She has made her home all winter with her daughter Nancy Odessa Wheeler of Victor, Iowa. She has had poor health for several months and passed away February 21, 1913. She leaves to mourn her loss two sons, Lloyd and Quinter of rural Brooklyn and two daughters Genevra Kenyon of Spokane, Washington and Nancy Odessa Wheeler of Victor, Iowa. One sister Mrs Maria Galbreath of Damascus, Ohio and one brother Emanuel Swaidner of Roanoke, Indiana. Twenty-two grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren along with many other relatives and friends. The funeral was held Friday morning at 11 O'clock from the Church of the Brethren East of Brooklyn conducted by Rev Brubaker of Prairie City, Iowa. Interment was made in the Brooklyn Cemetery.
