Y., September 2, 1863, and departed thi life April 8, 1935, at the age of 71 years, 7 months and 6 days. When a girl 16 years of age, she came to eastern Iowa with her mother, later moving to Arnolds Park. She was united in marriage to Charles G. Hall, February 11, 1882. he preceding her in death 13 years ago. To this union five children were born, two sons who died in infancy and three daughters. The daughters are, Mrs. Ethel Clark, of Bagley, Ia.; Mrs. Hazel Molloy and Miss Mary Hall of Arnolds Park, Survive to mourn the passing of their mother, also seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and a host of friends. She early showed a tendency to serve her Master and when the Friends Church was organized in Arnolds Park, she became one of the charter members, and held true to its doctrines and teachings to the end. She was an active worker in the church and its organizations until declining years and impaired health forced her to retire. However, she was still serving as Treasurer of the Missionary Society at the time of her death, having held this office for many years, and relinquishing all other activities but this part of work, and was near and dear to her heart. She was known to many in the church as "Mother Hall", in her passing one more of the pioneers of the Lake Region has gone to the reward which is promised to "All them that love the Lord". She was a kind Christian Mother, a good neighbor and a staunch friend and her passing is but a "Bend in the river of Life, which turns the current Heaven-ward." Funeral services were held at the Friends Church at 2:oo o'clock, Wednesday afternoon, conducted by the Pastor Rev. Theodore Foxworthy after which interment was made in the Cemetery at Arnolds Park. *The Spirit Lake Beacon, April 11, 1935 -------------
