Chapin, and W. Gilbert Williams acting as pall bearers. Obituary Mrs. Hannah Wood was born at Port Sarney, Canada, on May 3, 1882, the eldest child of Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Craig. In 1887 the family came to the Dakota territory and settled on a farm four miles northwest of Winfred. In 1896 they moved to Mississippi and returned to this vicinity in 1903. In 1904 Miss Hannah Craig was united in marriage to William Wood at Howard, S. D. They lived in several towns in the western part of this state and in 1917 they moved to Eagle Butte, S. D. After a period of four years illness she passed away on January 26, 1935 at the age of 52 years, 8 months and 23 days. She leaves to mourn her death a husband, William Wood of Eagle Butte; three daughters, Mrs. James Davidson of Eagle Butte, Mrs. Fred Winters of Benkelman, Nebraska, Miss Bernadeen Wood of Eagle Butte and two sons, Craig Wood and William Wood Jr., both of Eagle Butte, besides one brother, Thomas Craig of Winfred and three sisters, Mrs. Owen Williams of Junius, Mrs. Will Brown of Detroit, Mich. and Mrs. John Wagner of Howard.
