Description	:	Obituary Mrs. Hannah Rose, wife of E.A. Rose, was born in Harrison county, Ohio, Dec. 13, 1814, and died in Guthrie Center, Iowa July 3rd, 1895, aged 80 years, 6 month and 20 days. She was converted in the same county in which she was born, when about 16 years of age, and joined the M.E. church. She was married to Eli Glasener, April 17, 1838, who departed this life Oct. 2nd, 1870. Rose, was born in Harrison county, Ohio, Dec. 13, 1814, and died in Guthrie Center, Iowa July 3rd, 1895, aged 80 years, 6 month and 20 days. She was converted in the same county in which she was born, when about 16 years of age, and joined the M.E. church. She was married to Eli Glasener, April 17, 1838, who departed this life Oct. 2nd, 1870. Soon after her marriage they moved to near Senecaville, Ohio where she became a member of the Wesleyan Methodist church, when first organized there, about 1848. After taking up her residence in Guthrie Center she again united with that church of which she was a faithful consistant member until her death. She was married to E.A. Rose, Jan. 8, 1880, who survives her. She leaves four children to mourn her loss. She obtained the experience of entire satisfaction some years ago during a special meeting held in this place. Sister Rose was an effictinate wife, a kind mother, a good neighbor, an exemplary, devoted and consecrated christian She administered to those of her own household and others, in time of sickness and distress, to the fullest extent of her strenght and ability. Those who knew her best loved her most, She had no fear of death for she was in possession of that perfect love that casteth out fear. She talked about and arranged for her funeral services as composedly as if she was going on a journey. Her example has been and is worthy of imitation and her counsels entreaties and exhortations should not be unheeded. She was was a plain, practical, unassuming christian woman and labored to have others lead the same kind of life. She said to her friends a day or two before she died, "If I recover it is all right, and if I don't recover it is all right." Just a few moments before she died she said to her son, Thomas, "Praise the Lord, I'll soon be at rest." J.H. Meek
