At the age if 15 she united with the Methodist Church and has lived a faithful christian until death. She was united in marriage to Isreal M.... Read More	Hannah Decker Keener Obituary Hannah Decker was born near Daton, Ohio, January 24,1837. In 1851 she moved with her parents near McCome, Illinois. At the age if 15 she united with the Methodist Church and has lived a faithful christian until death. She was united in marriage to Isreal M. Keener January 8, 1857 which preceded her in death. To this union eight children were born all of whom survive, but one which died in infancy. They are, Mrs. Martha Ayers, Heart-well, Mo, Lincoln Keener, West Mineral, Edward Keener, Kenson,Oklahoma, William Keener, McCune, Mrs. Lucy Scoot, West Mineral, Mrs. Grace Moore, Roseland and 28 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, besides a host of relatives and friends to mourn her loss Mr. And Mrs. Keener came to Kansas in the early days and settled near Fort Scott in 1857, removing to this country in 1883, which she has lived unitii her death January 24, which occurred at the home of her daughter Mrs. Lucy Scott in West Mineral, where she has made her home for several years. She was a true and loving wife a loving and patient mother. A precious one from us has gone A voice we loved is still A place is vacant in our home Which never can be filled God in his wisdom has recalled The boom his love has given And thou the body slumbers here The soul is safe in Heaven The funeral was held at the home of Mrs. Lucy Scott, January 27, conducted by Reverend D.
