It is known that she died prior to 1825, probably in Pleasant Twp., Clark Co., Ohio, as she and spouse lived there. She married in Augusta Co., Virginia (now Pendleton Co., WV) about 1771 to Jacob Ellsworth. They were parents of nine known children: John, Jacob, Catherine, Rebecca, Mary, Lydia, Elisha (Elijah), Hannah and Isaac. It is known that she died prior to 1825, probably in Pleasant Twp., Clark Co., Ohio, as she and spouse lived there. She married in Augusta Co., Virginia (now Pendleton Co., WV) about 1771 to Jacob Ellsworth. They were parents of nine known children: John, Jacob, Catherine, Rebecca, Mary, Lydia, Elisha (Elijah), Hannah and Isaac. April 1771, Jacob patented 215 acres of land in Augusta Co., VA and this same land, Jacob and Hannah, signed over in 1786 (by then part of Rockingham Co., VA). They went to Harrison Co., VA (now WV) and settled by 1787. Prior to 1812, they sold their land in Harrison Co., and went to Champaign Co., Ohio (this area later known as Pleasant Township, Clark County), where Jacob secured a military grant of 160 acres from James Madison, President of the United States, on July 6, 1816. In 1819, Jacob and Hannah signed to sell one-half of this farm, and in 1825, Jacob alone signed a deed for the other half -- thereby indicating that Hannah had died sometime between 1819 and 1825.
