Fairfield MM records show two more children for James and Hannah: Charley, b 1863, 2, 25, and Wilson, b 1865, 10, 26. Records of Center MM [Hinshaw, vol. V, p. 540] show Albert (b 1850 and Sarah (b 1853) to have been children of Edwin & Hannah Whinery, so Edwin Whinery was obviously Hannah's previous husband. Edwin died 1855, 8, 15 and was "bur Chester," according to Hinshaw, vol. V, p. 540. Hinshaw, vol. V, p. 541, shows James Morris produced a certificate from Fairfield MM to marry Hannah Whinery, and on 1862, 6, 18, Hannah reported married to James Morris, and, on 1862, 8, 13, "Hannah Morris [form Whinnery (sic)]" granted a certificate to Fairfield MM. Records of Center M.M. (Hinshaw, vol. V, p. 541) show 1842, 11, 5, Edwin Whinery reported married to Hannah Hines, thus providing Hannah's maiden name. ========== Thanks to fellow Find A Grave contributor Genealogylove for contributing the following to the memorial: Sarah Stanley was married according to the ceremony used by the Friends, to Jesse Hines, in Chester Township, in 1826, and by him had one daughter, Hannah, born December 25, 1827 [note that this date is close to, but in conflict with, the calculated date of birth from the McBrides' reading of the tombstone], who in 1844 became the wife of Edwin Whinery of Union township. Jesse Hines died about three years after his marriage with Miss Stanley. M. Edwin Whinery and wife were born three children—Zimri, Albert and Sarah. Mr. Whinery died subsequent to 1850, and his widow was some time later married to James Morris, of Wayne Township, by whom she had two children, who survive their parents.
